About the role:
Are you a seasoned SOC analyst with a passion for driving growth in the payments and Fintech industry? In this role, you’ll contribute to design security testing strategies, conduct security reviews, and identify vulnerabilities. CloudCard is actively seeking a proactive SOC analyst to become a vital part of our team!

Job Responsibilities:

• Monitor security alerts via SIEM and other tools.
• Investigate and respond to incidents swiftly and effectively.
• Analyze events to identify threats and vulnerabilities.
• Use threat intelligence to detect and mitigate risks proactively.
• Develop detection rules and improve threat detection capabilities.
• Collaborate with IT/security teams for incident resolution.
• Support containment and eradication of threats with IR teams.
• Maintain and document incident response procedures.
• Analyze logs for patterns and anomalies.
• Report on incidents, trends, and threat analysis.
• Assist in vulnerability assessments and penetration tests.
• Recommend remediation strategies.
• Engage in security training and professional development.
• Contribute to improving SOC processes and technologies.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s in Information Security, Cybersecurity, Computer Science, or related field.
• Proven experience as a SOC Analyst or similar cybersecurity role.
• Strong understanding of cybersecurity principles and best practices.
• Proficient with SIEM tools, IDS, and other security technologies.
• Preferred certifications: CISSP, CompTIA Security+, GIAC.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
